Propaganda Most Foul

The COVID-19 propaganda barrage has reached a new low in intellectual integrity. In yesterday's Seattle Times (6/24/20), a quoted article from the New York Times quotes Dr. Anthony Fauci as telling Congress of his concerns regarding a new Coronavirus outbreak. He says that "Some states like New York are "doing very well" in controlling the spread of the virus...." He mentions the troubling surges in Florida, Texas, and Arizona, states with Republican governors which have taken a more casual approach to lockdown and to reopening. It should be noted that Fauci and his organization, along with Gavi, the CDC, the WHO and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are part of a pro vaccination cabal which is pushing for mandatory vaccination for the entire planet, warning that things won't return to "normal" until this occurs. So, in regards to Fauci's objectives, New York "good," Florida, Texas and Arizona "bad."

This meme is amplified in the editorial section where "liberal" economist Paul Krugman says that the falling infection rate in New York, etc, is offset by increasing infection rates in (you guessed it) Florida, Texas and Arizona. He then shamelessly goes on to compare the situation to the early 20th century outbreak of pellagra, a "plague of willful ignorance," where ignorant Southerners stubbornly refused to accept the facts so clear to unbiased Northerners. Neither Krugman or Fauci provide any numbers to back up their claims.

Well, let us look at some numbers to put all of this BS in perspective. First, let us briefly examine the reported COVID-19 mortality rate for the three "bad" states, keeping in mind that the COVID-19 psyops overstates COVID-19 deaths incentivising the overreporting of COVID-19 deaths when other factors were more likely. Sticking with the official numbers, however, we find that as of June 23, 2020, Florida claimed 3173 COVID deaths out of a population of 21.5 million for a 148 per million death rate. Texas had 2192 COVID deaths out of a population of 29 million for a 76 per million death rate. Arizona had 1342 deaths out of a population of 7.3 million for a 184 per million death rate. How about the lauded New York? It had 30,927 COVID deaths out of a population of 19.5 million for a 1586 per million death rate. Say what? New York's per capita COVID death rate was 8.6 times that of Arizona, 10.6 times that of Florida, and 21 times that of Texas and New York is held up as the shinning example of doing the right thing? This is an extreme example of mainstream propagandists turning reality on it head to achieve elite objectives.
