Former General of the US Army Wesley Clark on the military strategy after 9/11 attacks: "We are going to take out 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finishing it off with Iran" [2007] https://x.com/wikileaks/status/1819709215352438921?lang=en
As I write this on 6/22/2025, the U.S. has just attacked 3 Iranian "nuclear" sites claiming complete success. Since only these three sites were attacked, it will require some time to properly evaluate the effect of this attack and any follow on attacks by US/Israel and retaliation by Iran. What must be kept in mind is that Iran's nuclear potential is a secondary consideration being put forth as a pretext for military intervention by the U.S. Furthermore, the unacknowledged joining of the U.S. and Israel (US/Israel) as the core of the global Zionist empire requires that the U.S. and Israel be misrepresented as separate and independent nations rather than ideologically joined co-conspirators. This proves useful to empire when Israel is used as a ferocious attack dog with Uncle Sam holding the leash, coming to Israel's "defense," etc. The current reality is that Uncle Sam has morphed into Uncle Shmuley with the entire "West" under the sway of Zionist ideology. The point being that empire wants to eliminate Iran as a potential threat to US/Israel hegemony in the Middle East.
The U.S. attack was sufficiently restricted in scope such that at best empire has destroyed the pretext for hostilities without actually achieving its unstated objective of uncontestable Middle East hegemony. Unless there are follow on attacks by US/Israel or Iran more or less surrenders fearing a nuclear attack, then the empire has decided that its unstated goals are unachievable. If there are follow on attacks using conventional weapons, then the empire could face defeat and resort to nuclear weapons. Israel, while an integral part of the global Zionist empire, nonetheless, has the ability to act independently when it suits them.
"...We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: ‘Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.’ ... Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.” (Martin van Creveld, Israeli historian, on or about 2002)
Make no mistake, war mongering neocon Zionists have achieved effective control over imperial policies. Their twin goals are to use imperial power to remake the entire Middle East to Israel's liking and to influence the global restructuring now underway so as to ensure American (and by extension Zionist) imperial hegemony in the new world order. Their primary means for achieving this is through ongoing global warfare regardless of the risks involved. They are self-righteous, fundamentalist risk takers who view caution as a sign of weakness. Success will come to those who behave "like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother." I fear that we are headed towards the abyss, unable to halt the process.
"If we just let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely, and don't try to piece together clever diplomacy but just wage a total war, our children will sing great songs about us years from now." (Richard Perle, neocon intellectual)
